UCSF November Human Milk Drive with UC Milk Bank: Supporting Infants in Need
UCSF November Human Milk Drive with UC Milk Bank: Supporting Infants in Need is a fitness & wellness event in Mission Bay, San Francisco on Saturday, November 7 at 11:00 AM.
About this event
In honor of Prematurity Awareness Month in November, Univerity of California Milk Bank is partnering with UCSF Family Services to host a Human Milk Drive in support of premature and medically fragile infants. Human milk is the recommended source of nutrition for all infants and is especially critical for those born premature or medically fragile. When a mother’s own milk is not available, pasteurized donor human milk plays a vital role in filling this gap. If you’re a lactating parent with extra milk to share, your donation can make a meaningful difference.
